Matthew Baris

 

Matthew was at the forefront of the craft spirits movement when he founded one of the first independent Colorado spirits companies, Altitude Spirits, in 2004 and created his own spirits products. He has overseen the creation and development of liquor brands from concept to shelf, including production, brand development, and marketing and sales strategies. At Altitude Spirits, he created both his own products while simultaneously developing and executing strategies for international spirits products entering the U.S. market. In his role at Spirits Consulting Group, Matthew develops viable products, creates market entry strategies, manages sales through the three-tier system and navigates the U.S. spirits market with new brands. Matthew received his MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and he currently serves as both Chairman of Altitude Spirits and Vice-President of Brand Strategy and Innovation at Spirits Consulting Group.
