Andrew is the Founder and President of Brand Elixir Partnership (BEP), a full-service consulting firm for craft beverage brands. With over 25 years in the beverage alcohol industry, Andy now leverages his commercial experience, strategic acumen and coaching skills to help BEP’s broad client base to achieve market success.
Andy and his partners’ approach to ensuring client success starts with understanding brand strategy, utilizing rigorous process development and promoting collaborative execution. The BEP team has over 100 years of collective experience bringing brands to market and accelerating their growth and profitability.
Prior to launching BEP, Andy served as an Executive Committee member and VP, Brands, at MGP Ingredients, where he created the Company’s first branded spirits portfolio from scratch. The portfolio of nine brands, which included George Remus Bourbon, Rossville Union Rye, and Remus Repeal Reserve Bourbon, more than doubled in volume and profit every year, and won hundreds of awards and accolades.
Earlier in Andy’s career, he turned around numerous beverage brands such as Bolla, Fetzer and Korbel wine brands as SVP and Managing Director at Brown-Forman. In addition, while at Brown-Forman, he led the development of best-in-class planning and analysis systems that were rolled out to the entire organization. Later, Andy went on to other senior roles elsewhere, including President of Aveniu Brands, a wine and spirit importer, where he initiated an industry-first focus on attracting and developing craft spirit brands for national distribution.
Andy is a graduate of the University of Michigan (MBA) and The University of Virginia (BA).
