Sharing the spirit of the “Kentucky Hug” with others through virtual and experiential food and beverage curations is how Andrea D. Meriwether shares her bourbon roots with the world. By strategically pairing bourbon , unique cuisine and storytelling, Andrea has developed experiences that engage audiences and empowers enthusiast and consumers to “explore like a tourist, while eating and drinking like a tastemaker. “Believing that food and beverage are the social agents making America great again–bringing unlikely people together one sip and bite at a time. A2019 Gentleman Jack Spirited Woman of Influence honoree, Andrea advocates for the equity and inclusion of women and people of color in the food and beverage space. Her Farm Distilled Residency Program at HistoricLocust Grove was awarded the 2020 Tales of the Cocktail Diversity and Inclusion award. Summer 2021 she began her curatorial residency at the Southern Food& Beverage Museum and Museum of Cocktail History in NewOrleans, LA
