Tom has established a reputation of leading Account, Strategy, Production, Innovation and Creative teams to push the boundaries of creative deliverables and elevating brand clients to become leaders in their category.
As an EVP for Leo Burnett, Tom helped launch and lead new agency operations, including opening and staffing new offices. As Managing Director, he led the agency’s multi-million dollar revenue growth via new business wins. Tom’s global entertainment industry related knowledge helped the agency develop relationships in music, film, sports, and fashion.
He had prior served as a long-time consultant to Leo Burnett and other agencies and has worked with most of the major film studios, TV networks and Cable and Satellite providers. Tom has also worked with CCTV (China) and Avex (Japan).
Recently, Tom served as Chief Content & Innovation Officer for Big Block, a creative services and content production company. Under his leadership, the company expanded its relationships with numerous brands and advertising agencies and launched new business units, notably in gaming and esports.
As an advisor to Ripplebox and Snkrinc, Tom is developing new entertainment properties and shaping new forms of live event and filmed video experiences.
Tom is an active and popular speaker and also advises global brands and early stage companies on emerging trends and innovation in the media/entertainment industries, including Sprockit (Google, Verizon, Samsung, Comcast, etc.).
In the non-profit sector, Tom has advised The Annenberg Foundation’s explore.org division and served as a long-time Board member of the world’s first “rock n roll cancer foundation,” the Love Hope Strength Foundation (LHS).
Tom’s co-workers have helped him win numerous industry awards including Cannes Lions, Clios, Best Of Show awards, etc.
